Serving Mount Laurel and South Jersey
Meet Kenan Nuhodzic, Physical Therapist, Doctor of Physical Therapy (PT, DPT)
Kenan Nuhodzic is a physical therapist and founder of Mount Laurel Physical Therapy, an in-home practice serving Mount Laurel and South Jersey. He specializes in treating chronic spinal and hip pain and has more than eight years of experience in advanced manual therapy and exercise-based rehabilitation.
Throughout his career, Kenan developed a patient-centered system for treating chronic spine pain called i.C.R.T.B. — Identify, Calm, Restore, Train, and Build.
The process begins with listening and understanding the patient’s story: how the pain started, what factors may be contributing to it, and how it affects daily life. From there, the goal is to identify which stage of the cycle the patient is experiencing. If pain is dominant, treatment focuses on calming symptoms and reducing irritation. If stiffness and limited mobility are the primary drivers, treatment begins by restoring flexibility and movement.
Once pain is under control and mobility has improved, the focus shifts to retraining healthy movement patterns and building the strength, resilience, and confidence needed to return to everyday activities. The ultimate goal is not simply to reduce pain, but to help patients move better, function more independently, and get back to the activities that matter most to them.
Prior to becoming a physical therapist, Kenan proudly served in the United States Army’s 82nd Airborne Division, including a deployment to Iraq. The values of service, discipline, and commitment to others continue to guide his approach to patient care today.
